It shall be the duty of the President-Elect to assist the President, to preside at all of the meetings in the absence of the President, to carry out those duties delegated to them by the President, and prepare to accept the responsibilities of the Presidency for the upcoming year. They may supervise, along with the President, the work of the adjunct members. They may supervise the functions of all special committees.  The President-Elect will serve as President the year following the next election beginning July 1.
 
Secretary & Treasurer
The Secretary shall be responsible for the recording of the minutes of all official SOTA meetings and Executive Board Meetings. They shall maintain the Association files and handle correspondence as requested by the Executive Board. They shall maintain the membership database, issue membership cards and work closely with the Membership chairperson. They shall complete mailings for SOTA events.
 
The Treasurer shall be responsible for the fiscal records of the organization. They shall maintain an accounting of the funds in the SOTA bank account, as well as oversee the payments of receipts and bills for the organization. Any expenditure above $300.00 must have prior approval through the Executive Board. The Treasurer shall compile and present quarterly fiscal reports to the Executive Board.
 
The Adjunct Members will be responsible for regular attendance at Executive Board Meetings. The Adjunct Members will be responsible for promoting SOTA events within their respective agencies. Each Adjunct Members shall be responsible for acting as a chairperson for one of the following sub-committees: Marketing, Website, Membership and Professional Development Programming.
