About Us
SOTA is an organization comprised of professional trainers, managers and designers whose primary responsibilities include the design and delivery of personal and professional development programs. Members come from all parts of Ohio.
SOTA’s founders wanted to open the lines of communication among the State’s agencies to ensure that training efforts were not being duplicated. Established in 1984, SOTA has grown from just a handful of people to countless dedicated members!
SOTA strives to provide State of Ohio employees, trainers, supervisors and human resource specialists with professional development opportunities and resources to public sector training and development professionals within Ohio.
